Custom Impression Die Forging (Process)

We offer solutions in manufacturing crankshafts from design to forging and inspection services based on our customers' needs. Our crankshaft manufacturing processes are clearly defined prior to production, ensuring high quality of the end product.

A crankshaft manufactured by the forging process typically imparts greater strength and density as compared to a casting or crankshaft machined from bar. We design and tailor our crankshaft forging process to each application.

We have press lines from 3000 metric tons to 8000 metric tons that enable us to manufacture in-line and v style twisted crankshafts. We also provide a host of value added services to help with your crankshaft manufacturing needs including:

  • In-house design services with complete CAD/CAM capabilities
  • In-house tool and die design manufacturing services
  • Finishing services
  • Inspection services

All our products are subjected to stringent quality and inspection procedures. We also use non-destructive inspection services such as Magnetic Particle Inspection to examine the surfaces and sub-surfaces of our finished products.

Equipment Capability

Aichi Forge is able to produce powertrain components on the full range of forging presses including twisted crankshafts.

Tool and Die Capability

Aichi Forge has In-House Die, Design, Manufacturing, and Maintenance capabilities as well as CNC Milling Machines,  and CNC Vertical lathes.
